Abstract submission

Invited speakers
Invited speakers are invited to submit an abstract in English by following the abstract template. They will also have opportunities to publish a review in Environmental Science and BioTechnology (see special journal issue section).
Abstracts will be included in the Summer School Proceedings and final programme.

PHD Students
PhD students interested in giving a presentation (oral or poster (A0 size)) are invited to submit an abstract in English by following the abstract template before (April 15th 2012) extended deadline May 1st 2012. They will also have opportunities to publish a review in Environmental Science and BioTechnology (see special journal issue section).
Registration is a prerequisite for an abstract to be included in the Summer School Proceedings and final programme.

Abstract template :
It should be written preferably as a word-file and not exceed 1000 words. If it contains figures or tables, it should not exceed 2 pages. The abstract must include a comprehensive title, the name of all the authors, their complete affiliation (address, fax, e-mail), and clear results and conclusions. Abstract should be submitted by e-mail, as an attached file, to emmanuel.mousset@univ-mlv.fr, before April 15th 2012 extended deadline May 1st 2012. Download the Abstract template.

Special journal issue :

The organizing committes has teamed up with the Reviews in Environmental Science and BioTechnology for publishing a Special Journal Issue on Contaminated Soils: from characterization to remediation. The journal comprises of two distinct peer-reviewed sections: one offering Mini-Reviews expressing scientific opinions on topics and trends, and another presenting comprehensive critical evaluations (Reviews) of research efforts and technical realizations in particular areas. In addition to these two sections, the journal will publish research and policy-oriented commentaries, information on newly initiated research projects, key websites, recent developments in the field presented on international workshops, seminars and symposia, and initiatives from young researchers (science careers). All submitted papers and invited speakers will have opportunities for consideration for this Special Journal Issue. The selection will be carried out during the review process as well as at the conference presentation stage. Submitted papers must not be under consideration by any other journal or publication. The final decision will be made based on peer review reports by the guest editors and the Editor-in-Chief jointly.
Research papers will not be considered for this special issue
